Since their posters are used as a fundraising opportunity, The Crimson Girls, WSU's dance team, always requested something unique and different that helps them to stand out. The only direction that was given was for a circular layout with a team photo of the girls in the center. After researching, we were inspired by the photography of Alexander Yakovlev when he shot ballerinas. Gel lights, flour and chalk were used to create the final version below, which was well received by the dancers as well as their fans.
